What do you think is the biggest threat to the professional speaking profession and what can we do to overcome this threat?
“I believe the biggest threat to the professional speaking profession is the rapid growth of people who claim to be experts on a given topic, but who are hacks in reality. It is my belief that there are many keynote speakers out there (growing by the day) who are not qualified speakers or subject matter experts. This is a major opportunity for APSS, the GSF (Global Speakers Federation) and the CSP (Certified Speaking Professional) program to stand out and offer audiences someone who knows what they’re talking about and knows how to say it!”
