Session: Doing What it Takes
How to differentiate & deliver in today’s competitive marketplace
Dan Thurmon will share, in his signature style, insights for crafting and delivering world class presentations. Additionally, he will provide valuable insights about the business of speaking that will help you succeed in the most competitive speakers marketplace ever.
What do you see as one of the most significant challenges facing the professional speaking community as we look to the future?
“The challenge is, was, and always will be … relevance. Do we truly solve problems? We attempt to project and interpret our relevance through our marketing, proposals, and conversations. But the ultimate authority remains our client’s perception. If we’re off the mark, they generally don’t tell us. They just move along to increasingly abundant other options. In that respect, we must become more attuned, informed, and effective than ever before.”
