Science, the Virus, Misinformation and Trust

Aka when can we really get back on planes?

Jerome Boyd-Kirkup, PhD is set to transform the way we see the scientific community. He will help us understand the complexities of research and why so much misinformation is being spread around COVID19, which is hampering the global efforts to contain it. He will also provide an honest insight into the path ahead, how long it will take us to overcome the threat of the pandemic, and he’ll leave us with insight into how serious this virus is and what we can do to protect ourselves.

This session will ensure we have the best information when understanding the future of our industry in relation to the pandemic, and ensure that when we speak up in the global conversation, we are doing it from a well-informed position, which is critical to our credibility as professional speakers.

We will take-away:

  • The true challenge we are facing as a result of this pandemic
  • How to ensure we are not contributing to the misinformation being shared
  • A clearer picture of the timeframe ahead of us, so we can plan our future as professional speakers
