In a Crisis, How do We Plan for The Future?

In a Crisis, How do We Plan for The Future?

We ask the right questions

“When you walk with Purpose, you collide with Destiny” is Dr. Bertice’s mantra, and right now, she has never been busier. Not just making masks for front line workers across the US as part of The Hope Factory, but as a speaker too. Why? Because at a time when we are called to Write the Future, Dr. Bertice knows that to succeed during this time, we must ask the right questions, then we shape our response and raise our voices. We are in the middle of a paradigm shift for the world and professional speakers are being offered the opportunity to dig deep and do the internal work, as well as to think bigger, better, faster and to be more flexible than we were before.

Dr. Bertice will help us understand:

  • Why love and intention matters to succeed today and beyond this crisis
  • Why we need to challenge ourselves and ask – what does the world need and what can I bring to it?
  • How we build resilience to not just survive, but thrive
  • Why focus, imagination and creativity is essential to our success
  • And why being ourselves is what will attract audiences to us

Dr. Bertice Berry PhD, American Sociologist, Author, Lecturer, Educator, Speaker

No one defies stereotypes, generalizations or clichés more than Dr. Bertice Berry. Growing up poor in Wilmington, Delaware, the sixth of seven children, Bertice was told by a high school teacher she was “not college material”.

Fortunately, another teacher believed she was destined for more. Graduating with high honors from Jacksonville University in Florida, she earned a Ph.D. in Sociology from Kent State University at the age of 26, where she taught sociology and statistics. A very popular lecturer, Berry realized that using humor in lectures to address such difficult subjects as racism and sexism, was making a more profound impact.

From academics, Berry become an award-winning entertainer, lecturer and comedienne, a host and co-executive producer of her own talk show, The Bertice Berry Show, and hosted USA Live. Dr Berry is a multiple bestselling author and has appeared on The Oprah Winfrey Show, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, ABC’s 20/20 and NPR’s Tell Me More with Michel Martin.
