In this session, Simone de Haas, Professional Theatre Director and Stage & Story Specialist, will show you how knowing the power areas of the stage can grow your engagement with your audience. You will also learn the techniques that will GROW you as a masterful storyteller and GROW your potential as a speaker.
Simone de Haas has a brilliance with stage and story that has been honed by a theatrically inspired career of over 30 years.
She has won multiple theatre industry awards including the coveted Gold Matilda Award for Directing, Acting & Design and an ABC Radio Bell Award for Best Production and Best Director and has directed major productions of Les Miserablés, CATS, West Side Story, Into the Woods, and The Sound of Music.
Simone has worked as a Lecturer (Acting) at Griffith University and QUT, as well as Guest Director for the Opera Studio at the University of Southern Queensland.
As The Speakers’ Director, Simone focuses her multiple creative talents as a Leadership Communication and Stage & Story Specialist, and Executive Speaking Mentor. Simone is the Immediate Past President (Qld & NT) of Professional Speakers’ Australia.
